ParkZone Aircraft Leads the Way on RTF Micro Flight
ParkZone aircraft offer planes for every type of indoor RC pilot

ParkZone aircraft Cessna 210 RTF RC model
ParkZone aircraft is a pioneer and leader in the new field of truly ready to fly, micro RC planes for indoor flight. The ParkZone model airplane motto of “Charge-and-Fly” really is true. You literally purchase a complete set of an airplane, transmitter, charger and flight battery. One simply opens the box, charges the ParkZone aircraft, plugs in the battery, and take to the skies. And the best part: these ParkZone aircraft all fly exceptionally well.
The ParkZone aircraft are revolutionary, and have changed everything regarding indoor micro RC flight. Micro RC aircraft, due to their small size, have a well deserved reputation of being “twitchy” and difficult to fly. The small tolerance for any sort of error in constructing a micro flyer is such that success is rarely met when building these tiny aircraft at home. Just too much can go wrong. Weight is the primary concern. Merely an extra gram of weight (say, from a touch too much glue) can make the difference from a well flying model to one that cannot take off.

ParkZone ready to fly indoor planes meet all these lightweight construction requirements with a very well thought out design and precise manufacturing process. Every aspect of the ParkZone model is carefully planned, from the tiny linkages to the incredibly small servos, electronic speed control and electric motor. But, as always, actions speak louder than words. Just about everyone I have met who purchased one ParkZone aircraft winds up purchasing several more. The ParkZone airplanes fly that well, and are surprisingly affordable, and can be flown in a park under calm winds.

Let’s take a quick look at some of the various models of ParkZone airplanes that can be a part of your flying fleet. The ParkZone airplane that started it all was the Cessna 210. Incredibly lightweight at just 18 grams, the ParkZone Cessna 210 comes ready to fly right out of the box. Any RC pilot who flew the Cessna 210 was seeing something for the first time in their RC lives, and they were pretty much hooked. The Cessna 210 made practical indoor flight – perfect for areas with harsh, windy winters – a reality for all radio control pilots. It is just about impossible to overestimate the impact the ParkZone aircraft Cessna 210 had in the world of indoor RC aircraft. I had never imagined or seen anything like this in my 37 years in the hobby.

ParkZone Ember, transmitter and battery charger
ParkZone aircraft soon brought out the Ember indoor RC micro model. The Ember has a slightly larger wing and propeller than the Cessna, thus flies at a more leisurely pace. Both the ParkZone Cessna 210 and ParkZone Ember use three channel control for elevator, rudder and throttle. All flight controls of the Ember are harmonized perfectly, and one could scoot along just inches above the gym floor under full control. As a matter of fact, the micro RC plane Ember would make an ideal trainer aircraft for the aspiring RC pilot.

ParkZone Vapor ready to fly micro-flyer
Not content with the Ember, ParkZone aircraft soon brought out the Vapor ultra-micro flyer RC airplane. The Vapor weighs in at an incredible 15 grams. The Vapor uses a fuselage and tail/wing framework of lightweight carbon. The ParkZone aircraft Vapor’s wing and tail surfaces are covered with the exceptionally lightweight and durable PET film. Lightweight is the absolute key to the flying success of these micro flyers. The Vapor simply floats along and you maneuver it under full control. Again, the way these ParkZone aircraft handle in the air is almost beyond imagination.

Sukhoi Su-26m RTF micro RC airplane
Moving from relaxing, slow flying indoor models, ParkZone aircraft Sukhoi introduced the Su-26m ultra-micro aerobatic flyer for more experienced pilots. Constructed from EPS foam, and offering four channel control with the addition of ailerons, the ParkZone aircraft Sukhoi Su-26m can perform the full range of aerobatic maneuvers in your local gym. The Sukhoi weighs in at 34 grams, and has a slightly larger motor and battery than the Cessna or Ember. This all comes together in a perfectly engineered package that offers the ParkZone aircraft RC pilot a true four channel RC flying experience, again with no building required.

ParkZone airplane P-51D Mustang micro flyer
Continuing with their leadership in the new world of ready to fly ultra-micro indoor RC airplane, ParkZone aircraft brought out the P-51D Mustang. One of the most famous U.S. fighter aircraft of World War II, the Mustang truly “looks the part” of this historic aircraft. Weighing in at an incredible 35 grams, the ParkZone aircraft P-51D uses four channel control on the interference free 2.4 GHz radio frequency band, and even offers a steerable tail wheel.

The ParkZone aircraft line of ready to fly, inexpensive ultra-micro RC aircraft are global leaders in the hugely popular field of ready to fly indoor aircraft. Everywhere that indoor RC pilots meet, you will find several examples of these great flying models. A perfect example is the yearly E-Fest indoor RC event. But don’t take my word; ask anyone who flies a ParkZone aircraft what they think. You just cannot go wrong flying one of these wonderful micro RC airplanes.
